How to start using Finnish Trust Network for authentication and document signing
The Finnish Trust Network, or FTN for short, is a framework established by the Finnish government to provide a single point of access to all the electronic IDs issued by Finnish banks and mobile telecom operators.
Here's a list of Finnish banks that we currently support in the Dokobit portal:
- OP
- Nordea
- Danske Bank
- Savings Bank
- Aktia
- POP Bank
- OmaSP
- S-Bank
- Handelsbanken
- Bank of Åland
In simpler terms, If you're a client of one of these establishments (as listed above), you can use your online banking information and passcodes to log in and sign documents in our portal.
Note: This e-signing method only supports authentication-based signatures (AdES) and can solely be used with PDF format files.
How to log in to the Dokobit portal using FTN
1. Go to the login page and choose Finland from the drop-down menu list of the supported countries.
2. Choose Finnish Trust Network.
3. You will be presented with a list of the supported Finnish banks.
4. Choose your bank from the list and continue with the login process as usual.
