Using Smart cards and USB tokens with Internet Explorer for Windows users

In order to be able to use smart cards and USB tokens for logging in or signing documents in the Internet Explorer browser, you need to install and enable Java. You can download Java software from here.

To enable java in Internet Explorer, you should check settings located at Tools > Internet Options > Security. Choose "Custom level...", scroll down to "Scripting of Java applets" and make sure to select "Enable". Confirm changes by selecting "OK".

Once you install Java, you will notice a pop-up box appearing in Internet Explorer, as shown in the below image. Make sure to select "Enable".

While attempting to login to the Dokobit portal, you will be asked to run an application. Please select "Run".

Besides, you can check if „Enable Java content for browser and Web Start applications“ is selected in Java Control Panel > Security.
